Grand Vitara Safety Rating and Global NCAP Tests

Grand Vitara is yet to be tested for the NCAP scores and is expected to go for the NCAP tests in October 2024.

The Grand Vitara is based on the Global C platform, which is also used in the Vitara Brezza. The Vitara Brezza has been the safest Maruti car to date with 4 stars for adult safety and 2 stars for child occupant safety in the Global NCAP tests.

The test was conducted on the older model of Vitara Brezza and not on the one launched in 2023.

However, safety standards have increased with time. Not only the NCAP test has become tougher but also vehicle manufacturers have added safety features to meet the NCAP Tests and satisfy the consumers.

It is expected that it will perform well in the upcoming NCAP tests.
