Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled its maiden electric car the Xiaomi SU7 to the fast-growing EV Market. The car is blazingly fast in acceleration and has been named ‘Speed Ultra’ which has been clipped to ‘SU’.
The major highlight of this car is that it reaches 0-100 in just 2.78 seconds beating the famous cars like the Tesla Model S & Porche Taycan. Also, the expected price of the Xiaomi SU7 is several times less than that of Porche Taycan.
The car comes with a Smooth and Striking Design and a Smart Cabin equipped with Hyper Os on board which means there is seamless connectivity with the Xiaomi phones and accessories.

Xiaomi SU7 Features
Autonomous Driving
The car comes powered with Xiaomi Pilot Autonomous driving. It has two Nvidia chips that are highly powerful in computing and enhance the autonomous driving system. It also comes with 11 High Definition Cameras, 3 millimetres wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic radars on the max variant.
Smart Cabin
The car comes equipped with Xiaomi’s latest Hyper OS. It is designed with human-centric integration architecture. It features a 16.1-inch console with 56 inch Head Up Display. It also has a 7.2-inch rotating dashboard. The car is powered by a Snapdragon 8295 in-car chip with an ultimate processing capacity of 30 TOPS.
Battery
Xiaomi has self-developed CTB integrated Battery Technology that has an efficiency of 77.8% which is the maximum in any EV battery to date. This increases the performance by 24.4 % and the recharge range by 1200 km.
E-Motor
Xiaomi at the conference showcased three engines that are V6, V6s and Hyper engine V8. The hyperengine V8 has set global records for EV motors. It has a maximum speed of 27200 rpm, 425 kW output and 635 nm peak torque.

Xiaomi SU7 Price in India
Xiaomi Su7 car will be manufactured by the state-owned BAIC Group. Their Beijing factory has a capacity of 2 Lakh vehicles annually.
